Richard Wagner's opera 'The Flying Dutchman' is presented by Zurich Philharmonia in a concert performance (sung in the original German with English surtitles).

Alain Altinoglu conducts the Philharmonia Zurich and Zurich Opera House Chorus, with Bryn Terfel (The Dutchman), Anja Kampe (Senta) and Matti Salminen (Daland).

Wagner's celebrated story, in which The Dutchman finds redemption through the love of a faithful woman, employs a rich pallet of orchestral colour to brilliant effect, painting a vivid picture of drama on the high seas.

Opera straight from one of the world's greatest opera houses comes to Royal Festival Hall starring Bryn Terfel in the title role.
