Barbican Weekender: Urban Stories

A weekend of dance, music, theatre and more for young people of all ages. Shakespeare-meets-hip hop is the theme and performers include the Barbican Young Poets, free runners Streets United and MC Roxxxan. There will be street dance classes with Boy Blue Entertainment, graffiti sessions and workshops led by the Hip Hop Shakespeare Company. The BBC Symphony Orchestra, rapper Akala and one hundred members of the public will be creating an opera in a day and there are ticketed concerts each evening.
