Time Out says

To celebrate its eighth birthday, the Breakfast Club mini chain of cafés is running a series of '80s-themed events, including Wednesday night film screenings throughout August at the Hoxton branch, and a series of silly happenings. On Thursday, you can take part in the Hoxton Hop – a Spacehopper race (Hoxton branch, 1pm), some competitive Rubik's Cube solving (Hoxton and Spitalfields branches, 8pm) – both with the chance to win dinner for four. There's also an '80s aerobics class (£8 entry for charity, 7pm, Hoxton branch), while Friday sees the innocent game of Connect 4 turned to the nefarious purpose of speed dating (£8 entry for charity, 7.30pm for 8pm start at the Hoxton and Clapham branches). Money raised will go towards the charity Rays of Sunshine which grants wishes to kids with life-threatening illnesses.
