E17 Art Trail

Now in its tenth year, the Art Trail is an annual festival providing a framework for artists and makers to exhibit and promote their work. In 2014 more than 300 exhibitions and events will take place over the 16 days, at venues all over Walthamstow. Thursday May 29 is the preview night, with open preview parties planned at many of the venues including 56 St James St, which will host a Matisse-inspired paper forest installation by Alex Cunningham and Andy Macgregor (7pm). There is also a special children's trail aimed at families, highlighting exhibitions about dinosaurs, Lego and knitted creatures. Look online here for a comprehensive list of participating venues.
