The monthly French newspaper Le Monde Diplo, which deals with global issues and is published in 20 languages, holds a series of debates led by key figures in transatlantic affairs. Such as Peter Nolan, the professor of Chinese management at Cambridge University, who will appear at the first discussion on Sep 30 to talk about China's economic success and growing international influence. Francisco Dominguez, the head of the centre for Brazilian and Latin American studies at Middlesex University discusses 'Venezuela After Chavez' (Oct 14), and the executive director of charity War On Want, John Hillary tackles the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership currently under negotiation between the EU and the US.
