As part of 1936: Radical Roots, a series of events celebrating the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Battle of Cable Street, an evening of films documenting the anti-fascist events of 1936. Yoav Segal's 'The Battle of Cable Street' and 'No Pasaran' are followed by Eran Torbiner's 'Madrid before Hanita', about volunteers from the Jewish community in British Mandate Palestine who joned the International Brigades to fight fascism in Spain. Veterans will take part in a Q&A after the screening.
