London Puddle Jumping Championships

Pack wellies, splash suits and a change of clothes (for them, not you – hopefully) for a day at the London Wetland Centre, which is even wetter than usual in half-term thanks to the grandly titled London Puddle Jumping Championships. It’s essentially a watery obstacle course to splash their way around, with winners crowned every day. Plus, there are pin-drop peaceful gardens, tucked-away wildlife hides and an encyclopedia’s worth of weird and wonderful creatures to gawp at.
