Time Out says

Professor David Nutt gained immediate notoriety when he was sacked as the government’s chief drugs adviser in 2009. His offence? Criticising the government's decision to reclassify cannabis. Yet he is one of the world's leading experts on the effects of drugs on the brain. For the latest in this series of talks run by the University of Westminster's Department of Psychology, Nutt describes his life in science, arguments with the government, and why magic mushrooms should be taken for research and MDMA is much more than a party drug. Doors open at 6.30pm for a prompt 6.45pm start, and entry is first-come, first-served.
