We've finally got some nice weather and that means it's the perfect time to get outdoors. And we don't just mean to the nearest pub beer garden. Get some sweet fresh air in your lungs with a sesh at one of Go Ape's outdoor adventures, which will get your pulse racing as those zipwire thrills start to kick in. This proudly employee-owned company is dedicated to helping people get moving and have fun together, with friendly instructors on hand to help you make the leap from the sofa to the skies. Here's why you should make Go Ape part of your summer plans.

It's a perfect summer day out for all ages

Are you hunting for an activity for a gaggle of friends or family? Look no further. Kids with energy to spare will go wild for a Go Ape session, with views to put their local playpark to shame. The easiest courses are suitable for ages four-plus in certain locations, while older kids (and adults) can test themselves with exhilarating trips through the treetops on the 10-plus Treetop Challenge course.

As an added incentive this summer, families can get 15 percent off the Treetop Challenge using the code FAMILY15. It's a perfect reason to get thrill-seeking teens out of the house: they'll love putting the grown-ups to shame as they zip through the air. But fear not, you don't have to be as muscly as a gorilla to get the most out of a Go Ape adventure.

Prefer to keep your feet planted firmly on the ground? Try your hand at Go Ape Battersea Park's brand new escape room experience, Codebreakers. Oh, and this indoor adventure isn’t weather dependent, so if a summer rainy day arrives, you’re still in for a great day out (in)!

You'll find Go Ape in three gorgeous London locations

The Go Ape adventure starts before you get onto the course – thanks to the exciting locations they spring up in. London icon Alexandra Palace is known for its majestic views over the city, so why not enjoy its panoramas from a high ropes course? Leafy Battersea Park is perfect for nature lovers, with green vistas and views over the River Thames making for a thrilling climbing experience, especially since it boasts some of Go Ape's highest climbing platforms. Or leave the city behind almost completely at Go Ape Cockfosters, where you'll grapple with challenging courses in the forests of Trent Park: you'll totally forget you're just minutes away from a tube stop.

There is something for everyone, whatever the weather

As autumn approaches, London's parks pack away their deckchairs and pedalos, but Go Ape is just getting started for the new season. Its courses are designed for all conditions, with grippy surfaces making sure that rain most definitely won't stop play. So don't let the Great British weather hold you back from fun this summer. Pack a rain mac, and monkey around in the trees on a day out that you'll remember for all the right reasons.

Live life adventurously this summer at Go Ape’s three London locations.
