When you’re looking for places to watch the footie, a few things come to mind. One: atmosphere. This is everything. You don’t want to be the only ones yelling at the scream while locals quietly sip a Guinness and dissociate from the chaos. You want to be surrounded by others who feel just as passionate as you do. Two: drink selection. Yes, the beers are important. But so are the soft drinks for when you want a break from the hoppy stuff (cue, the Pepsi MAX). And three: snacks. This is a very, very important element. Matches might kick off in the early evening, but you’re never really sure if they’ll keep to that 90-minute runtime. And before you know it, you’re having a sloppy kebab on the way home, risking getting hot sauce all over your new linen trousers (just me?).

To make sure you’re watching the Women’s Euro in London the right way, we’ve handpicked a selection of top food and drink destinations that are showing every fixture. Better yet, these – and plenty more – are plotted on a nifty map, right here.

Planning a visit? Explore these top eats!

1. Between the Bridges

If the 10/10 vibes, massive screen and phenomenal location aren’t enough to sway you to Between the Bridges, the food market certainly will. Yes, we are biased, but we’ve curated a pretty great line-up of local street food slingers to keep you full while the game unfolds. Expect an out-of-this-world selection of food and drink (if we do say so ourselves) from the likes of Rack City Ribs, CMDX tacos and Crumbled, all handpicked by our food and drink editor Leonie Cooper.

2. O'Neills Clapham

If it's the atmosphere you’re after, O'Neills has got you covered. This Clapham branch is in a particular prime location for match day vibes, spirits will be lifted, and the high street will be packed with punters seeking out the perfect viewing location. Catch every goal, penalty and foul from one of the many screens and cheer on your sweepstake team in a lively sports bar setting.

3. The King's Head

The King's Head is a friendly local that's all about the traditional pub experience. Hunker down here for a game (they are showing every single one of them!) and enjoy a wide selection of delicious snacks while you cheer on the Lionesses. We’d recommend the crispy smashed potatoes, honey & mustard sausages and crispy battered cod goujons for a healthy mix of flavours. Oh, and don’t forget to throw a Pepsi MAX in there, too.

4. The White Swan

From July 2-27, Twickenham’s usually chilled-out waterside pub will become a hive of football fandom. Watch the Lionesses hunt to reclaim their UEFA Women's Euro trophy from the 17th-century pub's cosy interior, with a Pepsi MAX and beer-battered haddock to hand. There’s even a riverside patio to enjoy with a post-match cocktail or two.

5. Brewhouse & Kitchen - Hoxton

Immerse yourself in the action at Brewhouse & Kitchen, which will be showing all the UEFA Women’s Euro on screens around its brewpubs. The cosy Hoxton local serves classic British pub grub, alongside bottomless brunches and hearty Sunday roasts. Come for the footie, stay for the expertly brewed craft beers. Other locations: Highbury, Islington (Angel).
