Eccentric sporting event organised by The Chap Magazine and cocktail bar Bourne and Hollingsworth, which sees participants in dapper dress compete in events such as passing the port, Bakewell battles, umbrella jousting and beach volley bowler (in which a bowler hat replaces a ball). The event also features live music from quartets and cabaret acts, as well as a coconut shy, radio play performances, boules, hoopla, an old-fashioned bar, a hog roast and a sandwiched stall. The dress code is: 'elegant finery, military wear, formal wear, dandy wear. No sportswear please except cricket whites and absolutely no denim'.
