Time Out says

Fans of steampunk – the neo-gothic offshoot of science fiction whose dystopian aesthetic has a growing following – are in for a treat with this exhibition of images by artist Gary Nicholls. Twenty photographs inspired by the likes of Jules Verne and Tim Burton and featuring costumed characters in all sorts of fantastical locations, are displayed alongside the props that appear in the photos. Prints will be available to purchase. The show is the first instalment in what the photographer describes as a ‘steampunk Dickens-style fairy story’, a three-year project that will culminate in a limited edition artist’s book. The show may also open on Saturday May 10 – call ahead to check.
