These family-friendly stories, narrated by Olivia Colman and with music from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and two choirs, first trace Gerda's adventures as she tries to rescue her friend Kay from the clutches of the Snow Queen, then revisit the Arthurian myths through the eyes of a pair of time-travelling youngsters. The latter is a première of new work by Adrian Sutton, who came to fame as the composer for War Horse. The profits of this event go to LAM Action, which supports women with an incurable lung condition (http://lamaction.org/).
