Tibet Mass Lobby

The annual Tibet Mass Lobby takes place on the anniversary of the 1959 Tibetan National Uprising. Tibet supporters are encouraged to directly lobby their MPs about Tibet and to ask them to support initiatives to help the Tibetan people. The event is preceded by a wreath laying ceremony in front of Westminster Abbey (noon). The Tibet Freedom March between Tothill Street, SW1 and the Chinese Embassy in Portland Place, W1B takes place on Saturday March 12 (11am-1pm), followed by 'Remember Tibet', an afternoon of Tibetan dance, words, music and food at Westminster Cathedral Hall, Ambrosden Ave, SW1P 1QW (3-6pm).
