You won’t be spotting any legwarmers here – this trail is designed to expore George Orwell’s dystopian nightmare. The walk starts at the Ministry of Truth (aka BBC Broadcasting House) and passes through the streets of Fitzrovia and Bloomsbury, where Orwell set many of the scenes in the novel. It ends at the Ministry of Love (Senate House) after which walkers can relax at a (non-totalitarian) café/pub. The event is part of Footprints of London’s Literary Festival.
