Windows on Tea: Live Chadō Demonstrations by Tankokai UK

This series of free demonstrations at Japan House London offers an introduction to Chadō, the Japanese Way of Tea, a tradition with more than 400 years of history. Each hour-long session will show you the correct way to prepare and serve tea to guests, while also paying attention to their gestures and the nuances of surrounding environment. It’s being presented in collaboration with Tankokai UK, an association of chadō practitioners connected to Urasenke, one of Japan’s largest tea schools.
