Personal issues seem to be rife this series; the hugs are a little looser and the air kisses a little airier. This makes for an excruciatingly enjoyable blend as the teams are hired to run corporate away days promoting the benefits of communication and teamwork to big-name clients this week.
A school days theme is an early favourite (‘St Trinian’s?’, suggests one of the men, having learnt nothing from last week’s sexism storm) but, predictably, the teams become more concerned with amusing themselves than with providing a useful service as am-dram elements begin to take precedence.
‘If I’m going down, I’m going down in flames – but at least it’s decisively in flames!’ roars one PM. To be fair, making decisions per se isn’t a problem tonight. It’s more the wisdom of them, as one candidate declares their anti-corporate credentials, another overrules a team vote and a third forks out for giant sumo suits to illustrate the perils of conflict…
