This brand-new contemporary art gallery celebrated its grand opening on April 9, 2016. The space has special meaning for the artists who have been in Venice for decades but were recently pushed out by rising rents. Featuring the work of well-known artists Alberto Bevacqua, his son Ara, and John Grauman, it’s a way to celebrate their work from 334 Sunset Ave, where the Bevacquas shared a studio that fellow Venice artists also used, including Richard Diebenkorn, Sam Francis and May Ray. The new art gallery has various exhibits and events planned throughout the year.

Really unique artwork and furniture, pieces I would love to have in my home. The owner is so nice and is really dedicated to his art work.
With so many places popping up all over Venice showing commercial art the authenticity of this gallery is exciting.
"Taste of Venice"! Alberto has been involved in the community since I can remember. His custom furniture, metal structure designs and Lighting can be found in most restaurants in our area, being Venice, Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey. If you love Art and a good atmosphere, this is the place to visit. Not to mention if you need an unique piece of furniture for your home, Alberto can make it happen. I m a fan and you should be too. Stop by and enjoy the experience :)
The photo is not of the 1003 Gallery. The space opened on April 9th but it's future is unsure if it will be open under current management on Abbot Kinney. Good luck 1003.
