LA's A+D Museum—the country's sole venue devoted to exhibiting progressive architecture and design—puts on this annual gala that will feature a silent auction, surf 'n turf cuisine, an open bar and music by KCRW DJ Raul Campos. This year's theme focuses on celebrating the art of LA's beach communities. Actor and host Boise Thomas will emcee the night, which will center on a runway presentation, featuring custom surfboards, boogie boards, and skateboards created expressly for the event by local and international architects, designers and artists. The gala will be held on Museum Row (5900 Wilshire Blvd) and all proceeds will benefit the museum.

This was an amazing event last year -- lots of hip folks (older and younger) from a variety of design worlds, awesome graphics outside and in, super cool model show! And really creative creations...going again!
