Christopher Myers: Drapetomania

Myers inaugurates East Hollywood gallery Fort Ganesvoort with colorful quilted tapestries that respond to the ongoing oppression and marginalization of minorities, as well as works that reference Myers’s own personal historical inspirations, from Greek mythology and W. E. B. Du Bois to Buster Keaton and Steve McQueen.
