Michelangelo: Mind of the Master

You’ll still have to fly to Florence to see the famous marble David, but you can just head to the Getty to see some of the drawings that sparked some of Michelangelo’s monumental works. About 28 Michelangelo drawings will be on display, most of them exhibited on freestanding pedestals so that you can see the sketches on both sides (we imagine wasting paper was frowned upon in the 17th century).
