Museum of Latin American Art Online Auction

It’s a tough time for, well, everyone right now. But museums in L.A. have been shuttered for months, and right as they were readying to reopen they’ve been ordered to shut their indoor galleries until the end of July, at least. The Museum of Latin American Art has faced deep losses, and to help remedy them they’re turning to an online auction on July 19 of over 160 works by Latin American and Latino artists donated by collectors and the artists themselves. Bids for pieces start as low as $50, and proceeds will benefit the MOLAA COVID-19 Recovery Fund, which helps cover basic operations costs like conservation, security and programming.
