Rock & roll and the Sunset Strip pair together much like a frosty Bombay Sapphire martini and skewered olives— a pairing storied with late nights stumbling out of the Whiskey A Go-Go and grubbing down crispy onion rings at Mel’s Diner. But rock & roll’s association with Sunset Blvd is more than legendary nightclubs and greasy spoons, and LA-based photographer Robert Landau is here to show it. Exhibiting two decades of iconic rock & roll billboards in one spectacular showcase, guests can get a glimpse into the evolution of rock culture and advertising from the late 1960’s to the 80’s.
