The art world is notoriously elusive, but perhaps our inner 8 year olds can all appreciate this one. The Toy Art Gallery, an idiosyncratic space on Melrose, showcases and consults on unique, high-end "art toys" and sculptures (think: Banksy meets Furbee). The gallery also collects and produces limited edition, custom, and life-size toy sculptures. It may be niche, but arguably easier to understand than your average Pollock.
