At the intersection of Cannon Rd and Paseo Del Norte in Carlsbad is the Carlsbad Strawberry Company and a place where you can rightfully utter the words, “strawberry fields forever.” The field has one crop and one crop only—strawberries—and more than one variety too. Guests can purchase a container and pick the juicy fruit themselves or purchase a bunch of freshly picked strawberries from the stand. Carlsbad Strawberry Company is open daily during strawberry season, which generally spans from March to July, but call ahead of time to check availability.
