Whether you've been a fan of the Ramones and the Sex Pistols since they were on vinyl or if you're just a fan of their reissued T-shirts at Urban Outfitters, you'll likely appreciate Ripped. The exhibition, held at the FIDM Museum, profiles the punk rock movement, tracking its influence throughout future genres of music, as well as art, design and culture. The show is curated by Cesar Padilla, an artist/musician/collector/punk rock enthusiast who also wrote Ripped: T-shirts from the Underground. The show contains 150 band T-shirts, photographs, posters and other materials essential to the movement. Make sure to check the venue throughout the run for updates on special events held in conjunction with the exhibit.
