Time Out says

Among the first landmarks destoyed during the Palisades Fire were the ranch house, stables and other historic buildings at Will Rogers State Historic Park, the former home of writer, cowboy philosopher, trick-roper and the first honorary mayor of Beverly Hills Will Rogers. The park itself—the starting point of many popular hikes, including Inspiration Point—remained closed for nearly the whole year, but after months of restoring the 186-acre grounds, it’s now back open again with limited access. Visitors can enjoy the main lawn, picnic areas and the polo field. Inspiration Loop is only partially open—but still offers a breathtaking view—while the Backbone, Rivas Canyon/Temescal and Rustic Canyon trails remain closed for the time being.

What’s on

Street Food Cinema

For dinner and a movie, all in one, just follow the food trucks. During the spring, summer and fall, Street Food Cinema throws together a series of outdoor parties that include screenings of some of our favorite movies, paired with an assortment of gourmet food trucks and even a live music performance from a cool local band. The screenings are held in venues across L.A. into October and alternate from week to week, so make sure to check the schedule. Some of the outdoor venues are dog-friendly, allowing you to bring your four-legged cinema lover along. See more of this season’s outdoor movie screenings in L.A.
