Time Out says

Joshua Boyd, Adam Kirsch and Jeff Laub are continuing their westward expansion with a second L.A. outpost. Their NYC barbershop/cocktail concept first hit Culver City, and now landed in Highland Park. Walk through the bright, white-tiled barbershop to the "backroom," which is where you'll find a midcentury-inspired cocktail den slinging drinks and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches until 2am. It's sleek, it's low-lit and it's wood-panneled, adding even more style to an already happening neighborhood.

With a bizarro '70s decorating vibe, peppered with some of the old camera signs from the building's former life, Blind Barber HP has a lot more character than Blind Barber Culver City.  Thankfully, it retains the winning parts of Culver City's charm--great drinks and food (though the bartenders at CC were definitely more attentive, sorry HP).  The grilled cheeses here are spectacular.  You will want to order more than one so you can try your tried and true but also one of their other numerous flavor combinations.  Their cocktails are expertly made.  Spot the glowing barber shop facade and stroll on in.
