Hipsters pack this Tijuana-themed, Silver Lake party bar illuminated by a lone "Lounge" sign out front. Stop in the thatched roof bar for a Pacifico by the bottle or PBR on tap. Take in the colorful, Mexican paraphernalia, from sombreros to colorful flowers, dangling overhead and the portraits of drag queens and blacklight paintings on the walls. It's a confusing conundrum of décor that make the bar and appeal to the local nabe folk. Photo booth, foosball, and oversized, shiny black booths—all in check.

This place is legit!  As you walk in, it is completely dark until your eyes adjust to the dim lights.  You notice all of the crazy decorations that adorn the walls and even the tables.  We sat at a table that was decorated with old school gangster rap pictures.  If you love day of the Dead decor you will really enjoy checking this place out.  There is even giant skeletons painted on the side of the building.  I had to use the ladies room and was happy to see that the crazy decor did not stop just in the bar area.

If you are ever in the Silver lake area, definitely check this place out.

Cha Cha is an interesting bar, it definitely has an initial hipster vibe to it but on a Saturday night it progresses into a pure clubbing experience (quickly) and the crowd becomes significantly less hipster. It's spacious and the many booths don't take away from the dance floor. I don't entirely get the foosball tables - but I have never gotten those little machines. Drinks are good, bar lines are not bad at all. The photo booth is an adorable add, even for the smartphone selfie addict (such as myself).
