Attached to the bigger South Beverly Grill, upscale-casual Honor Bar offers beer, wine, cocktails and classic finger foods: burgers, sandwiches, fries and even sushi in a sleek yet casual atmosphere. Their selection of sushi rolls covers the traditional Californian staples, but if you’re looking for something with a kick, try the crunchy shrimp roll, which pairs jumbo shrimp with a spicy rémoulade sauce and macadamia nuts. Honor Bar’s must-order crispy chicken sandwich with melted cheese, however, has made them a hit among locals. Be sure to leave plenty of time to snag a booth in the back or grab a seat at the bar, especially during the rush of the post-work crowd, since the small bar doesn't take reservations.
