Saddle up to the bar and drink your way through Belgium, namely with its famed brews. Downtown Arts District's latest bar, the Little Bear, offers a taste of a European beer hall with dozens of bottled drafts and a rotating of brews on tap. To eat, there's an extensive list of comforting favorites from moules frités to beer-battered fish and chips. Brunch-goers can enjoy traditional liege waffles, while late night bar-goers can dig into two-fisted sandwiches and burgers.

A hidden gem in that area of downtown. A friend who lived nearby first showed me this spot and I loved it. The space is very cool and fun to be in, plus they have a great selection of beer. Additionally, the food choices were a bit heavy but definitely filling and met my expectations - solid burgers, fries, grilled cheese, and things of the sort. If you're headed to an event downtown, a stop at Little Bear is definitely a worthwhile idea before or after.
