Time Out says
L.A. breweries tend to steal the spotlight around these parts, but Long Beach has its own booming beer scene—and this fall, you can sip your way through it at the inaugural Long Beach Beer Week. The new 10-day festival will feature pours from more than 40 LBC breweries, brewpubs and beer-forward restaurants, not to mention events across the city, like tap takeovers, brewer meet-and-greets, demos, pairing dinners, beer yoga and more.
Keep your eyes on the official website for schedule updates and announcements prior to the September 13-22 festival.
"Considering the explosion of the beer culture here in Long Beach, we felt the time was right to launch a citywide beer event," organizer George Glikman says in a news release. "This is an event that will truly celebrate the craft brew culture that Long Beach is becoming known for across Southern California."
