Guys—Arcade Fire made a film. A feature-length one, titled The Reflektor Tapes, directed by Kahlil Joseph and premiering at the Theatre at Ace Hotel on September 21.

You may know Joseph from his work on Kendrick Lamar's music videos, or this summer's MoCA exhibit, "Kahlil Joseph: Double Conscience," or his short film “Until The Quiet Comes” which won the Sundance Grand Jury Prize for Short Films in 2013.

For his recent Arcade Fire project, Joseph follows the band through the making of their latest album, Reflektor, from traveling through Jamaica to recording sessions in Montreal, an impromptu gig in Haiti during Carnival to packed arenas in LA and London. The film opens in theaters on September 23, and will also screen at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 12.

Arcade Fire has been teasing clips from the upcoming film since July, including a clip of the band in Haiti and a short official trailer. In addition to behind-the-scenes footage, The Reflektor Tapes will include a previously unreleased track called "Get Right." The band performed the song a few times on their Reflektor tour back in 2013, but never officially released the song.

After the screening on the 21st, there will be a Q&A with Joseph and the band. Joseph's reputation precedes him, and we're used to great, creative visuals from Arcade Fire (remember "We Used to Wait"?), so we're pretty stoked, and you should be too.

Tickets go on sale today, Wednesday, November 9 at 10am. See you there!
