BrunchCon, yet another convention, is coming to LA for brunch lovers

In the midst of recovering from WonderCon this past weekend, we got whiff of another convention coming to Downtown Los Angeles. An eggy, bacon-y, pancakes drizzled in maple syrup whiff. BrunchCon is now a thing, and our bodies are ready for it.

The day-long festival, held at the Reef in DTLA on August 14, is a celebration of all things brunch, with tastings, chef demos, boozy beverages and a market filled with treats and apparel. The list of vendors is still growing, but already includes some standout favorites: Poppy + Rose, Sonny's Hideaway, Bang Bang Brunch, Square One Dining and Escala, among others. MiddleBar will also be there for all your Bloody Mary needs, as will the Parlor

Tickets go on sale on May 1 (you can sign up for a reminder here), and they will release a list of updated vendors and speakers. Can't wait until then? Check out our guide to brunch in Los Angeles, where you can find everything from the best eggs Benedict to chicken and waffles galore.
