You didn't hear it here, but Caltrans might be in the market for an editor after a little mixup depicted in a recent post by Reddit user Pixelated_Penguin.
Apparently the user's husband was out for a walk on Monday night and witnessed workers installing an exit sign above the 5 Freeway for "Los Fezil." We've heard the debate over how "Los Feliz" should be properly pronounced a hundred times, but Caltrans takes the cake with its brand-spanking-new and way-off sign.
Thankfully, they fixed it (otherwise we never would have known where to get off). "Shortly thereafter," the post says, "the workers were out there with reflective tape, executing emergency edits." Our tax dollars at work, ladies and gentlemen.
