Happy birthday, Dune!
The tiny Atwater Village spot owned by Scott Zwiezen (Elf Cafe) has been making waves ever since it opened in mid-January last year, offering a small but curated menu featuring Middle Eastern plates and sandwiches and some of the best falafel in LA. Today, on Dune's one year anniversary, they're saying thanks to the community with free treats. Visit the restaurant on Glendale Boulevard until 9pm and you'll score a free Turkish tea and piece of baklava. Of course, you should definitely order the falafel sandwich, too.
