We have come a long way from our days as hunter-gatherers, foraging for food in the wild. Today, you can be a couch potato and order tasty food with the touch of a button, all without any judgement from your mother because now you're a technologically savvy member of society. Out of the litany of food delivery apps available, chances are that you have at least one or two on your phone, allowing you to conveniently order food on-demand so that you can get back to the business of life in LA.

One of these popular apps, DoorDash, is answering the biggest request from their users and will now include alcohol delivery as part of their services. The app is using their expertise in delivering food to hungry individuals to perfect the experience of ordering a wide variety of alcohol, at the right temperature and in a timely fashion.

The service will be offered only in Southern California, with plans to expand quickly. DoorDash is using their existing relationships with popular restaurants to allow users to order beer, wine and spirits to accompany their meals. Some of the great eateries that are already taking part are Ekkamai, Jinya Ramen Bar, Wurstkuche and High Park Tap House. The company is also working with a number of liquor stores to ensure that people can choose from a range of alcohol, with or without food.

With the Fourth of July quickly approaching, there is no better time to try out this exciting new feature. To celebrate the launch, and the holiday, DoorDash has teamed up with their friends at Anheuser-Busch and will be waiving the delivery fee when any Budweiser, Bud Light or Stella Artois beer is included in an order. The code to use is CHEERSBEERS.

Visit DoorDash for more information on their delivery services and be on the lookout for additional alcohol delivery promotions.

DoorDash isn't the only app that features alcohol delivery, a few of the other food apps include the service as well. And for those whose desires are a little more fine-tuned, the following is a list of apps that only deliver alcohol: Drizly, Saucey, Sqyre and Thirstie.
