Chances are you've seen Hana Ardelean and Jen Dionne, the ladies behind Tiger Tiger, around town—they're youthful, stylish and very much in the zeitgeist these days. And you've definitely seen their work; the creative duo, who've been friends since college, have built a name for themselves based on colorful, creative visual storytelling, and have clients that run the gamut from local bands (Classixx, Kitten, Gavin Turek) to major brands (Levi's, Vans, Bud Light, to name just a few). They've photographed fashion and cover stories for various publications; have conceptualized and shot campaigns for apparel companies and collaborations; and have filmed music videos, advertisements and short branded stories.

There's not much these gals haven't been up to in recent years; but somehow, they've never showcased their work locally—until now. This July, the pair will present their first solo exhibit, Faceless, hosted at co-LAb Gallery in Highland Park (5319 York Boulevard). The exhibit explores how we respond to, interact with and feel about someone whose expressions we cannot define or see. "We love that there's an unknown element for the viewer to have fun with," say Hana and Jen. "It allows their own feelings and imagination to complete the story."

Opening night is this Saturday, July 9 from 7-10pm; there will be music, drinks and food for purchase from La Estrella taco truck. Can't make it this weekend? The show runs through the 31st, so you have plenty of time. We'll see you there!
