Forget bicycles built for two, this Westside couple has a motorized papasan chair

Holy innovation. We've seen a lot of interesting modes of transportation around LA (you have time to notice these things while sitting in traffic), but this particular contraption just might take the cake. A resourceful young Westside bro has attached a comfy papasan chair, complete with footrest, to the base of an electric wheelchair, basically making it so he can leave the house without ever leaving his couch.

He's been spotted around West LA over the past few weeks, scooting along Sawtelle Boulevard and most recently, according to reddit user u/socalsubie, crossing Pico Boulevard. To sweeten the deal, he's always seen with a lucky lady by his side. Who could refuse a ride on a mobile sofa?! Netflix and chill is so limiting; these guys can sight-see and chill, run errands and chill, the possibilities are endless really.

Though there's no news yet on the couple's identity, one reddit user claiming to be the man's cousin, u/BooBooKitty, says that he "comes from a long line of pranksters with a good sense of humor." Prank? More like a business plan, we think. Someone call Shark Tank!
