She's originally from England, spent four years in NYC and has trotted all over the globe. Which brings me to the fact that she's an avid surfer, having caught waves in eight of the 26 countries she's visited. Aside from having amazing hobbies and a sweet demeanor, Shireen has also dedicated her professional life to promoting social responsibility through the art, fashion and travel industries. So, yeah, she's a catch."

What's at the top of your LA bucket list? Weekly horseback riding classes. I've started them, so I'm on track!
What's your favorite bar? Zinque in West Hollywood, kind of gives me that chill yet trendy downtown New York/Nolita vibe. It has a little outdoor fireplace, very cozy.
What are three must-have items you'd stash in your earthquake kit (aside from the necessities)? My Kindle. Phone to call my mum. Record player, with a few of my favorite Louis Armstrong vinyls that I snagged from a trip to New Orleans.
What LA stereotype do you kind of live up to? The outdoor lifestyle. I'm a sucker for it.
What's your favorite neighborhood in LA and why? Los Feliz. So elegant and charming. Houses that really look like homes. Like someone's inside baking an apple pie. Yum.
What's your ideal first date spot and why? Hmm. An afternoon sailing, adventurous yet super chill. You can rent a boat or take a class for nothing. Priceless views and good conversation. Plus, nothing beats a sunset over the water.
