While the primaries rarely get the kind of celebrations we expect from a general election day, we all know this year's California primary is getting a bit more attention than usual. For those who are proudly sporting their "I Voted" stickers around town today, a number of local businesses have announced they are offering discounts and specials. If you haven't voted, better run to your polling place in time to take advantage of these discounts.

Myrtle: Bring your sticker or ballot stub to this Echo Park womenswear shop for 10 percent off their hand-picked assortment of female designers from around the world.

Gelateria Uli: Show your sticker at this Spring Arcade shop for discounted European-style gelato offered in a variety of classic and creative flavors.

ReForm School: Stop by this lifestyle boutique in Silver Lake and show your sticker for 15 percent off home goods, clothing, art and vintage finds. Trump voters beware: they also claim they will add a 15 percent upcharge for his supporters.

Polkadots & Moonbeams: These conjoined shops are offering a discount on purchases of their eclectic mix of designer and vintage-inspired womenswear.

Terrine: This “Cali Brasserie” will be making it an extra happy happy hour for voters today. Bring in a ballot stub and they will mix up a free Plymouth Gin Martini, Ancient Age Old Fashioned or Rain Gimlet cocktail between 5:30 and 7pm.
