Get out your pint glasses, folks. L.A. Beer Week is back for another round of parties, events, new beer releases and plenty of sudsy favorites, starting with their annual kickoff festival on June 18. Held at LA Center Studios this year, the festival is a celebration of the week to come, hosting more than 75 breweries and 200 beers, live entertainment, games, food trucks and—as they have promised this year—plenty of bathrooms (hallelujah). As one of the largest craft brewery celebrations on the West Coast, tickets to the festival sell out quickly—snatch them up here while you can.

Festival attendees will also be among the first to taste Unity, the official beer of L.A. Beer Week. Each year, a different brewery comes up with the signature brew; this year, Three Weavers produced a hoppy American IPA Unity. Can't wait for the kickoff festival to try it? Three Weavers is debuting the brew at a release party on May 27 at their Inglewood facility.

After the festival, L.A. Beer Week continues until June 26, with beer-centric events popping up in beer bars, restaurants and breweries throughout the city. Some of our favorite events are back for another year: Eagle Rock Brewery's Battle of the Bands, Tony's Darts Away's Beat the Brewers Trivia Brunch, and a whole slew of Kick the Keg nights. The full lineup of events has yet to be released, but we'll keep you updated on the best ones to attend. Until then, check out the most recent L.A. Beer Week schedule and start acquiring a taste for hops.
