Don't get us wrong—whether you need a trend update, people to follow on social media or even LA Fashion Week advice—we're huge fans of fashion.

But there's a store in the Downtown LA Fashion District called Barabas Men that is taking things a little too far for our tastes.

In his Rolling Stone interview with Sean Penn, the Mexican drug kingpin El Chapo was photographed wearing paisley, colorful shirts. According to TMZ, one of their IT guys noticed that it came from Barabas. And now, it turns out the store has seen a huge spike in sales and they are capitalizing on the buzz. They put side-by-sides of El Chapo next to models, showing off the same shirt, and promoted them on social media. The demand was so intense that the clothing company's website crashed.

Call it smarmy exploitation; call it good business—we'll just hang our heads and let you fight it out.
