Proof that there’s never a wrong time to open an ice cream store in Los Angeles, McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams ushers in this chilly December (yeah, guys...winter is definitely coming) by celebrating their new Los Feliz shop with free scoops for all. The company’s third L.A. location (in addition to shops at Grand Central Market and in Studio City) moved in right next door to Bar Covell and Go Get Em Tiger on Hollywood Boulevard, and will be handing out complimentary seasonal flavors from 5pm to 10pm on Thursday, December 1.
Stop by for holiday-themed ice cream like cardamom and gingersnaps, pumpkin pie and burnt caramel apple. We’re particularly excited about the peppermint stick, made with organic peppermint and peppermint candy. Looking for something a little more savory? McConnell’s eggnog ice cream is made with a mix of Sri-Lankan cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and rum (we’re drooling over here).
The Los Feliz location is open Thu-Sun 10:30am-10:30pm and Fri-Sat 10:30am-11:30pm, sharing an open patio with Go Get Em Tiger so that you can enjoy your dessert while doing some avid people watching. Find them at 4630 Hollywood Boulevard.
