Los Angeles is no stranger to wild and famous feline personalities, namely P-22, the mountain lion who took up residence in Griffith Park and mugged for the camera in front of the Hollywood Sign. But these two 3-week-old mountain lion cubs are about to give P-22 a run for his money.

Meet P-46 and P-47, the brother and sister being raised by their mother in the western Santa Monica Mountains. According to KCET, which premiered footage of the sweet siblings, the National Park Service was able to capture video of the cubs when their 6 1/2-year-old mother, P-19—who's tracked by radio collar—temporarily strayed from her den.

The NPS will continue to study the cubs as they stake out their own territory in another year or so. That'll be a particularly telling time, as no other male cubs—other than P-22—have survived past the age of 2 due to competition and human threats. But we won't think about that just yet. Instead, just gaze into these lovable blue eyes and adorably pouty faces.
