Whether you dance or drink the night away, we're pretty sure New Year's Eve will take its toll on you. We can't think of a better way to nurse yourself into 2016 than at one of the following New Year's brunches. Cheers!

Hangover Brunch at Viviane

Indulge in dishes like the fried egg and porchetta ham hoagie with Jack cheese, or a bone marrow and trout caviar (short stack of whole wheat blinis). Wash it all down with a "San Francisco Rooster Shot" of freshly pressed wheatgrass juice, orange juice and Tapatío Tequila. 10am-3pm at the Avalon Hotel, á la carte pricing

Disco PJ Brunch at the Front Yard

Jam out to the Bee Gees while munching on brunch favorites like Nutella and banana-stuffed french toast—in your PJs. All guests who join the party in their pajamas will receive a complimentary bloody Mary or mimosa—not that we needed the excuse. 11am-2:30pm at the Garland, á la carte pricing

Recovery Brunch Buffet

Enjoy a spread of breakfast favorites and hangover-friendly additions such as tater tot nachos and mini Kobe burgers at this Downtown spot. If you need a little hair of the dog, pay $10 extra for bottomless mimosas. 11:30am-3:30pm at Artisan House, $24.99 per person

The Bellwether Brunch

Nosh on comfort foods like monkey bread with raising and brown sugar, avocado toast with fried egg and chili or a hot chicken sandwich with pimento cheese and slaw. Also on offer are house-infused signature cocktails like micheladas and Pimm's cups, and special $8 bloody Mary's and $5 mimosas. 10:30am-2:30pm at the Bellwether, á la carte pricing

Extended Brunch at Gracias Madre

Enjoy this vegan restaurant's popular weekend brunch on a Friday—you can even order New Year's Day specials such as Fluffernutter french toast. You also have the option to start 2016 on a healthier note with a green smoothie, or keep the festivities going with a michelada or Mexican mimosa. 10am-3pm at Gracias Madre, á la carte pricing

New Year's Day Brunch at the Hungry Cat

Head to either the Hollywood or Santa Monica Canyon location on January 1 to enjoy signature Johnny cakes with smoked trout salad, soft shell crab BLTs and more. The ocean-fresh raw bar will also be available, as well as cocktails to toast in 2016. 11am-3pm at Hungry Cat, á la carte pricing
