Our favorite photos (and things we ate) from EEEEEATSCON

The Infatuation held their first ever EEEEEATSCON this past Saturday at Santa Monica's Barker Hangar, where thousands of social media savvy foodies ate, drank, and (duh) socialed delicious fare from vendors like Eataly, Jon & Vinny's, The Nomad Truck, Badmaash and more. Largely promoted as the "food festival for the Instagram generation," it did not disappoint with an abundance of Instagram-friendly backdrops and picture-perfect plating.

One of the best dishes we tried was Badmaash's Chicken Tikka Tater Tots, which were perfectly crunchy and topped with a generous serving of shredded chicken. The bowl cost $16, which was a little steep considering the $45 ticket fee, but it was so good we forgot about the price very quickly.

We'll always get The Nomad Truck's signature black truffle chicken burger with crunchy chicken skin wherever we can, and it was just as good as the last time we had it. Eataly is definitely one of the most anticipated arrivals in Los Angeles this year and they served some Italian classics at the fest like their delicious ricotta and chocolate chip cannoli. We hydrated with Nighthawk Breakfast Bar's famous Spiked Cereal Milk, which is exactly what it sounds like—cereal milk mixed with a generous amount of bourbon. Sweetfin Poké served a delicious bowl of Truffle Yuzu Yellowtail with rice. And we also ordered a pretty good $7 Baked Crab Hand Roll by Katsuya that probably should've been two for the price.

L.A. legend Nancy Silverton gave a panel and The Knocks performed as well. We couldn't get enough of the cute visuals projected inside the hangar and the lovely wooden booths for each vendor. It was a well-curated feast for the deep-pocketed social media crowd.
