Someone called the cute police last night when a runaway miniature horse was seen trotting around in traffic near Reseda Boulevard and Chase Street in Northridge.
Officers received a call around 9:45pm and were quick to wrangle the horse and contain it on a leash to ensure its safety while they waited for animal control to arrive. Yes, don't worry, the adorable little horse is fine.
Thankfully, we have lots of photographic evidence of the event. “Lost pony found in the area of Yolanda/Chase in Reseda. LAPD and neighbors captured him. Owner unknown,” one user tweeted. Soon after, the same user Tweeted an adorable update: “Pony has been eating ever since it was caught. Animal control on the way with trailer to take custody.”
Where the pony escaped from is unknown, and at the time of publication, the owner of the tiny horse had yet to come forward to take ownership. But if it needs a home, we could probably make room in our office—no really, LAPD, give us a call.
