We came, we saw, we ate all the mac and cheese: on Sunday, December 4, Time Out L.A. threw its annual Mac and Cheese Smackdown at Brookfield Bank of America Plaza, where hundreds arrived to chow down and vote on their favorite mac and cheese. Over three sessions, attendees lined up for cheesy dishes from Little Pine, BOA Steakhouse, The Hudson, POP Champagne Bar & Restaurant, Max City BBQ, Comfort LA and Trencher, plus a side dish of brisket and roasted vegetables from GC Marketplace and dessert from Crème Caramel LA. Dark Horse Wine, Angel City Brewery beer and Rekorderlig Cider flowed; Best Friends Animal Society chatted up those who were curious about adoption; while games of cornhole and Connect Four were played on the back patio.

As the evening came to a close, votes were tallied and a victor emerged: BOA Steakhouse (and congrats as well to Comfort LA, the runner-up). Thank you to all who attended, and for those who didn't—we'll see you next year!
