Since you can't use a selfie stick at Coachella, you may want to try... the selfie shoe?

According to new rules and policies, if you bring a selfie stick/narsisstic to Coachella, you might as well as go camping in Joshua Tree and listen to the line-up on your iTunes. The popular SoCal live music festival joined Lollapolooza and others to ban the popular sticks.

While there is no formal statement on why the Indio folks have decided to ban the devices, the sticks have been known to obscure the view of others in the crowd. It may also stand to reason by the use of the term "narsisstic" that the festival isn't a fan of the types of people who use the device in the first place. People kind of like these guys...

If you think that the stick is obnoxious, you're really going to flip (or kick) when you see the selfie shoe. Although, it looks like this is probably an early April Fool's joke, the concept and design seem fairly plausible... and Coachella hasn't placed a ban on it just yet.
